Sheriff Records Request
Use the Lee County Sheriff's Office records request page and the records request form for booking, jail, arrest, incident, or mugshot records that are not posted online.
The first 30 minutes of staff time are free. Extra staff time and paper, disc, or flash-drive media may be billed. If the office can email the record, the media fee is waived. Requests are ordinarily processed within 10 business days, while Iowa Code 22.8(4) allows a reasonable delay of up to 20 calendar days to decide whether a record is confidential.
